Our Story
Paradise Rescue was established to address the pressing issue of stray animals in Puerto Rico, particularly in the northeast region. Recognizing that rescue efforts are more effective with a support network, we founded this organization to share our experiences and engage individuals interested in contributing through donations, fostering, or adoption. Over the years, we've accumulated an impressive portfolio of rescue success stories and assembled a dedicated team committed to improving the lives of our beloved "satos."
Our Mission
The purpose of Paradise Rescue is to bring awareness to and help reduce the stray domesticated animal population in Puerto Rico by: educating the public on best practices and care for pets; rescuing and relocating stray animals; creating a network of foster homes and sister rescues located in the United States, to aid in the relocation of stray animals to American homes; creating community outreach to prevent animal neglect or abandonment; and encouraging and leading a volunteer network in Puerto Rico and the United States to reduce the number of stray animals located on the island of Puerto Rico.
