Adopt
Interested in making one of our dogs a part of your forever family?
We are actively seeking forever families to adopt our dogs. At Paradise Rescue, we take care of all the flight arrangements and, if necessary, transportation, ensuring that the dog gets as close to your home as possible. To initiate the adoption process, please complete the adoption application provided below.
Are you a rescue organization interested in partnering with us?
Please fill out our contact form as we would love to hear from and work with you!
Are you visiting Puerto Rico and fell in love with a stray on island?
We can help you make arrangements to vet, board if needed, and fly the pup to your home state. Send us a message to learn more.
Volunteer
Are you local to Puerto Rico or here for a visit?
We are actively seeking volunteers to assist with daily shifts at the Luquillo Safe Haven for Animals, where our rescues receive care. These shifts encompass activities like dog walking, cleaning, playtime, and more. We welcome both regular local volunteers and visitors who wish to participate in a shift during their vacation experience.
Foster
Do you live in Puerto Rico or the Midwest and love dogs?
We are actively seeking foster homes, primarily on the eastern side of Puerto Rico, as well as in various U.S. states, where our animals can temporarily reside while we search for their forever homes. Fostering plays a vital role in keeping these animals out of shelters, providing them with an invaluable opportunity for socialization before their eventual adoption.
Become A Flight Angel
Are you traveling back from Puerto Rico to a US airport?
We are actively seeking volunteers to accompany dogs weighing under 20 lbs on their flights. Our continuous search for flight angels encompasses routes to Chicago, Detroit, Milwaukee, Newark, Washington DC, Pittsburgh, and Seattle, with potential opportunities in other locations. Our dedicated rescue team will handle the pickup upon arrival, covering the expenses for the dog's travel, and veterinary care, and providing the essential health certificate and carrier.
